The UAE and Global Warming


I have found an article which talks about the effects of global warming on the UAE and the Gulf water. Wolf Hilbertz, a Dubai-based German conservationist said that the gulf water is getting warmer and saltier and the water lever has risen because of global warming and this could affect marine life. A United Nation report said that the global warming is destroying the Gulf's coral reefs. To fight and solve this problem a 3 years project has been formed between the Environmental Research and Wildlife Development Agency in Abu Dhabi and Qatar's Supreme Council for the Environment and Nature Reserves. This $500,000 project will study the previous problems and will try to find solutions for it.

On the other hand, I have heared that the sea rised between 4 to 8 inches in the last years.

Hi there...
ya i have heared that too and it is realy scary because as you know almost all our cities are near the cost and if the sea level has increased, that will be a big problem.
